Getting in the mood…

The seasons are calling and it’s time to get in the mood. One of the easiest ways to convey the time of year is through coloration…or the lack of coloration. Yep, it’s all about the Black and White for these chilly Fall times. Here are a couple of tips for making great B&W pictures:

  1. Landscapes are fine, but an interesting subject can be more revealing when put to the B&W test. Try a pet or friend for this. Trust me, there are plenty of B&W landscapes already!
  2. Turn up that Contrast! It will really make your B&W pictures pop.
  3. Don’t forget about the night shots. I am attaching an early evening pic we took. It looks awesome in B&W. In fact, it is the image on our business cards!
